I wanted to give a quick reminder to get your #HelpOK shirts to help with relief efforts here. They're $13, shipping included. Proceeds benefit the Regional Food Bank's disaster relief efforts.

On another note, Twinniekins and I are ordering 4th of July shirts! They come in youth and adult sizes and are going to be on a white tank - it's a loose version of a yoga tank, is the best way I can describe it. We are turning in the order Monday so get your orders in before then! The blue will be sparkly (it doesn't wash/flake off, don't worry!). I've not been reading any blogs lately (and clearly I haven't been blogging, either). Mostly, because I've been entirely too busy at work (love working somewhere that responds immediately to disasters and sticks around for the long haul, btw), but also because disasters involving tornadoes just hit really, really hard. I may talk more about it all later, to get my thoughts out of my head, but right now, I just want to ask you to pray for Oklahoma. I know most of you already have been. Continue, please. I love Oklahoma so much, and I know what those who lost homes are going through. It really stinks. Pray especially for those who are also dealing with the loss of a loved one. And if you know of someone who has been affected by this storm, please visit regionalfoodbank.org/helpok for some helpful resources.

Long after the media attention leaves, Oklahomans who have lost everything are going to be putting their lives back together. You see the nasty mess left behind by the tornado's destructiveness. But after that mess has a big dent put in it, people are still buying the basic things we all take for granted, finding a car, hoping their workplace will open soon, picking out house plans and planning to rebuild.

If you want to help with relief efforts, the Regional Food Bank is providing food and other necessities. You can text TORNADO to 32333 to give a $10 donation to disaster efforts with the Food Bank. The $10 will be applied to your phone bill. Give what you can, volunteer if you can, but pray without ceasing.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I haven't participated in #WILW in a loooong time, but I'm loving a lot this week so I decided it was most definitely time.

1. This post by Matt, which was posted last week but I randomly saw today.

2. Duck Dynasty. How the HECK am I just now getting into this, Jack?!

3. My coworker David & and new friend K.k. got engaged and made this awesome video, and it's being picked up by all sorts of media. They're so fancy pants - such a fun couple!

4. Oklahoma is getting some SUPER RAIN this week! Even though I'm not a fan of storms or yucky, dreary days, I am loving this soaking, much-needed rain! Praise Jesus!

5. Essie's Turquoise & Caicos. My love of this color is back with the spring and I look forward to using the entire bottle :) I'm currently rocking it with one silver sparkle nail on each hand {of course}.

6. It's exactly 30 days until my birthday! May 2, I fully anticipate you to be a fantastic day. Ahem, mom, your reminder.

Alright, that's a lot of love for the night, and I've got some Duck Dynasty and New Girl to catch up on. Toodles. 

#High5Friday....kind of.

I'm WAY happy it's Friday.

This week barely even deserves a high five.

It's just been a really.long.week. starting with Monday.

Anyway, 5 things real fast.

On Tuesday, Matt & I changed his oil. Read that adventure here. The good news/high five out of this? His car is still working! We didn't break it! 

Oklahoma's weather has been awesome this week. Tomorrow it might be gross again, but for now, it's awesome. My coworkers & I took advantage by having a sunroof lunch!

My March BirchBox came in! It was packed fulllllll of goodies that I can't wait to try!!

The OKC Thunder volunteered at my work yesterday! Read: I was like two inches from Nick Collison. #swoon. No worries, Matt didn't get replaced :) Go watch this video for a peek at the fun. See pictures I took of the day here.

The kids loved the players!

OSU won last night in the Big 12 tourney!!! They play again tonight at 9. While I love this tournament, I'm really just ready for Sunday so I can fill out brackets already. #ILoveMarchMadness

I (clearly) love Oklahoma{State} so it's only natural Siri (aka my iPhone...original, I know) would want to wear a cute  chevron pattern with a giant orange Oklahoma in the middle!
